Året efter kom vinyl-EP:n "Stormy Clouds", men sen tog det slut, både personligt och musikaliskt. (Läs mer här: Broken Fences nya EP). Maken till harmonier som flyter samman till en enhet kanske vi aldrig får höra igen...!
Sedan dess har Morgan fortsatt göra musik själv och det finns mängder av låtar hon gjort att lyssna på, både på Soundcloud och You Tube. I oktober förra året släpptes den fantastiska singeln "October" och nu har hon gett ut en EP med hjälp av Indiegogo. Hon har också fått fin hjälp av musikerna Nathan Zoob och Mark Dignam, samt sångerskan Brooke Annibale.
EP:n innehåller fyra nya låtar och så "October". Jag faller pladask för Morgans låtar, så enkelt självklara, men ändå spännande och känslomässigt utlämnande. Inledande "Ask Me" börjar med en akustisk gitarr och Morgans fantastiska röst, både ljus och mörk på något konstigt vis. Snart strömmar trummor och elgitarrer in och ljudbilden blir tilltalande komplex utan att ta bort fokus på melodin och rösten.
"Beautiful Thing" är något lugnare men lika vacker och suggestiv. Titellåten "Lady" är EP:ns lugnaste låt, men lika fascinerande. "Runner" sticker ut med sin melodi och sitt budskap, kanske den låt jag tycker allra mest om för tillfället. "October" avslutar och är bland de vackraste sånger jag vet just nu. Om det finns någon som helst rättvisa borde den här EP:n bli spelad om och om igen av en riktigt stor mängd musikälskare... Du kan dra dit strå till stacken genom att börja med att köpa "October" för $1 på Bandcamp! Jag har svårt att tänka mig att det skulle finnas något bättre du kan köpa för den summan...!
Snart kommer "Lady" att finnas att köpa på CD Baby. På Spotify kan du lyssna på "October" och dessutom på Broken Fences två skivor. Det vore ovanligt dumt att låta bli...!!!

Morgan Erina is the New York girl who found love and moved to Pittsburgh. There she became one half of the duo Broken Fences, that recorded a sensationally strong debut album in 2012. The best album of that year, as I see it (Read more here:

But then it all ended, both personally and musically. We may never again hear such great harmonies, that somehow flow together into one unit.
Since then, Morgan has continued to make music by herself and there are lots of songs she has written you can listen to, both on SoundCloud and on YouTube. In October last year she released the fantastic single "October" and now she has released an EP with the help from Indiegogo. She has also received help from the musicians Nathan Zoob and Mark Dignam, and singer Brooke Annibale.
The EP contains four new songs and "October". I fall head over heels for Morgan's songs, so definitive and simple, but still so exciting and emotional. The first track "Ask Me" starts with an acoustic guitar and Morgan's amazing voice, both light and dark in some strange way. Soon drums and electric guitars appears and the sound becomes more complex but still appealing, without removing the focus on the melody and the voice.
"Beautiful Thing" is slightly quieter, but equally beautiful and suggestive. The title song "Lady" is the EP's quietest song, but just as fascinating. "Runner" stands out with its melody and its message, perhaps the song I like the most at the moment. "October" is the last track and among the most beautiful songs I know right now. (Read more here:

If there is any justice at all, this EP should be played over and over by a large crowd of music lovers. You can do your part by buying "October" for $ 1 on Bandcamp! It is hard to imagine that there could be anything better you can buy for that amount...!
Soon "Lady" will be available for purchase on CD Baby. On Spotify you can listen to "October" and also Broken Fences two records. It would be very foolish not to do so...!!!
