Sam skrev nyligen så här på sin Facebook-sida:
"We wrote it for one of our best friends, Harris, who passed away from an overdose. He was the funniest guy in every room, one of the best comedians on the planet, an under-appreciated passionate drummer, and the friend we have to thank for introducing the two of us. The song is about the worry we had when his addiction began, and the guilt we were feeling when he passed away. It's about the polarizing mix of high and low memories that came flooding in when he was gone (that's why we're releasing both a LOW and HIGH version of the song). It’s about the Saturday Nights we all spent together, but mostly the nights that our friend spent alone and how we wish we could’ve been there".
Was there something I should’ve said or could’ve done?
Tied you down to my bed made love ‘til you went numb?
Oh what I wouldn’t give to take your pain away
And make you stay
- Jim Hanft / Sam Yonack
