Jag inser nu att denna serie av obskyra favoriter skulle kunna fortsätta mycket länge... och den återkommer kanske... men jag vill som tillfällig avslutning bjuda på vad som borde vara en riktig klassiker: "Sing Children Sing" med Lesley Duncan (1943-2010).
Det är nog lite orättvist att placera henne i denna kategori, men denna låt är så skyhögt över allt annat hon gjort. Visst finns det flera Duncan-sånger värda att lyftas fram, och även en del för mig helt ointressanta, men det här är ett mästerverk!
Ett under av envis optimism! Ett så enkelt budskap att det är underligt att vi aldrig lär oss...
